Watercolor workshop with Dylan Pierce

October 23-25, 2025 Thursday - Saturday 10:30am -5:30pm (5pm on Sat) ​ "Capturing the Soul" Dylan will guide the class in how to capture the beauty and unique character of the animal while conveying a mood and message in the painting. Various watercolor techniques will be demonstrated to achieve realistic textures unique to each animal. Using sketches to establish a synchronized order of importance, Dylan will explain how to make artistic decisions to create and effective composition, to communicate what is important to the viewer. Also, Dylan will demonstrate how using color studies will help discover unexpected ways of expressing ones message. Principles of creating depth and realism will also be demonstrated.
