Hiding in My Shadow — Original Oil Painting

Original oil painting by Dylan Scott Pierce.

Artwork dimensions: 14 × 30 inches

Artist's Reflection

“This painting explores the journey from mistrust to trust, from a closed heart to one willing to connect. Though light surrounds him, turning toward it and reaching out takes courage, especially when he has remained in his own shadow. It is through reaching out that we begin to connect and experience life more fully.”

A one-of-a-kind original oil painting inspired by Dylan's experiences in Swaziland, Africa.
